What makes the Ella Shower Column Kit superior to other shower kits is the uniquely oversized rain shower. In order to create an extended overhead shower, the column kit connects to a diverter on an Ella brand 2 or 5 Piece Deck Mounted Faucet. The stainless steel, chrome finish column can be effortlessly adjusted up to 7 feet tall. Along the column is a vertically movable, 5 mode multi-functional hand shower. Attached to the top is an oversize rain shower that can be directed with ease to the seat for a seated shower or footwell for a stand up shower. This shower column kit replaces the need for a wall-mounted showerhead in your walk-in bathtub. The shower column is attached to the wall with either a short or long pipe connector. (The long pipe can range between 9 3/4″ to 10 3/4″ and is installed with an extension panel/filler in an alcove installation. The short pipe can range between 2 1/4″ to 3 1/4″ and is used when there is a gap between the center of the shower column and the wall). The strategically designed 2-Piece fast-fill faucet has two (2) pieces: a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The lever to control the temperature of the water is included on the mounted faucet, as well as a button that can divert the water flow between the mounted faucet and hand shower. The 2-Piece faucet has a fill rate of 16 GPM (gallons per minute), based on plumbing conditions. The hand shower is not designed to be attached to the wall.
